I her a lot of guys shaving about 1/4 in off the lugs so they wont have to worry about the lug flapping over. Is this ok? I plan on porting the track as well, going three 1 1/4 holes in each row. Any takes on that either?

That is what I did, I think my holes were a little bigger. I run here in MN, so I had to do something. I have been running ported tracks for a couple of seasons with no problems. Just do it, you will be very happy.

Best thing to do is take it off and throw it in the trash! Really those tracks are junk best bet is get a camo.

The tracks are good for what they are. We all don't have money to get a new, so we make it better for our style!!!

I tend to disagree....but I love the people like you tho! Makes the A20 10x cheaper to buy for us who use them! I bought mine as a BRAND new take off for $199!!!!!!

But I think I will REALLY like my A20-----in Hill Climb, paddles straightened, and ported with 2 1.25" holes in the middle of the track!

If I cut off 1/4 will it help with the lugs bending? maybe 3/8 off or 5/16? I was thinkin when I cut the track I was going to make small v's like VV or VVV in each lug (upside down of course).

Does straightnening the track make the lug stiffer?? Is this a perminent fix or is this something tat only lasts like one season? My track is brand new and I guess I just want to finds ways to make it as good as possible fr the riding I do on and off th trail in the U.P. So the more ideas the better.

Straightening the lugs only takes the stupid angle off the top of them, no stiffer at all. Them tracks only work good in the pow. The lugs also tear apart easy and crack, they are garbage. I had a 162" and my 440 had a the a20 competion track and they both sucked. The only time i like my 162" was one day out west when we had 2 feet of fresh come in over night, other than that i hated it.

Well the general vibe I am getting is this track is not the geatest, so if anyone wants a brand new A20 141 2 1/4 track, Ill give someone a good price. The other question is what track would be good for this sled?

I like the a20. I run a 1.5 lug on the trails and off trail in the UP and it performed GREAT!!
