I had my cylinder for my '94 ext 580 but they took off the paint. Does anyone know where I can get the paint to match the other cylinder. It was semie gloss black.

Use black engine paint

I just put a re-nic cylinder on my sled and decided to leave it unpainted. This way you know which cylinder is the new one if you ever have problems in the future. My dealer told me they stopped painting replacement cylinders for that reason.

I use tremclad gloss black, no high heat paint is needed. the same paint I use to use on metal ski's. I have done this on a least 5 re-nikasiled cylinders. Personally I would not leave them unpainted. Cat did this on their 600's (saves money) and I think it looks terrible, just like ski-doo motors.
