I registered my Sled late last year, In March for a weekend ride. My question, will I receive any sort of publiction from NH similar to the Vast news ? And how about renewal info. I was new to NH this year, and did like the Pittsburg experiance.

MM, you may want to join with PRR if that is the area you like to ride.. here is the link. I just got my renewal letter today.

Once I get my membership each year with PRR I then do my sled registration via mail with F&G during the late summer so I don't have to worry about a reg when I am ready to hit the trails.

When you join the NHSA (you are automatically a member when you do a club membership this year unless you have already joined through another club) you will get the Sno-Traveler. There is some talk about now that it is online it won't be mailed any longer but maybe somebody in the know better than I can reply.

Here is the link to the online publication.

Thanks.

I will check that out.

Also, I have a new truck, a 2500HD Crew cab, 6.0 with 6 speed, so much easier to get up there now. ALways looking for people to split gas with.

Thanks for the Info thumbsup.png

See PM too.

Congrats on the truck... In retrospect I wish I had the gas motor than the diesel... who would have thought where fuel prices would be now when I bought it in early 2007 wall.gif Going distances we do I do prefer the 2500HD over the 1500.

Maybe we can hook up this coming winter. I know the PRR trailsystem and surrounding club trails pretty well.

Ok. Today I received my VT registration renewal.

I just looked at my Nh registration from last year, and see it expired 6-30-08. I NEVER received a renewal. I thought I was going to get one. What gives ?

Or am I supposed to wait till I do the club registration.

Im getting myself confused. trau14.gif

You will not get a reg renewal notice (at least I never did any year). Depending on the club you joined you may get a letter to join that club again and NHSA.

p.s. At this point I will most likely be selling PRRSC club memberships/nhsa at the Open House at Land N Sea in October. But you will still have to get a new NH reg on your own - either by following the instructions I gave you above or by stopping at one of the OHRV Agents that sells NH regs. If you don't do the club membership first you will spend an extra $30 on your reg.

Ok. Its backwards compared to VT. I thought I was able to get the registration, then join a club. Heck I actually had VT registered sleds for a few years without them ever touching the snow. It was easier to pay the $22 and keep it going.

Im surprised, MA, VT, Ct all send registration renewals. They want your Money.

I might just wait till I see you in October to support you, although im in NH in September grgrin.gif

Yeah VT and NH different.

No need to wait MM if you don't want - you can print off a PRRSC membership form Here and they are prompt to return your membership card, stickers and nhsa card. Also if you want to add a few bucks donation for the new groomer and/or club addition please do so.

Mountain Man,
You have two options.
You can join a local club for $30.00 and $10.00 goes to NHSA, that gets you a membership in a local club and NHSA. $20 stays local with the club and $10.00 goes to New Hampshire snowmobile association. Total cost to you is $30.00. This is good for multiple sled registrations with the state.

Your next option is to pay the outside adder fee of $30.00 and it will go directly to NH Fish & Game department. This is a per sled additional fee.

Either way, you will still have to purchase your registration separatly. The $30 fee to fish & game can be done at the same time you purchase your registration.

For me, I ended up registering directly through the state Fish & Game process as NHSA has not distributed their paperwork yet, and I only had one sled to register. I took care of my 4wheelers and sled at the same time. Did not want to make multiple trips.

If you go the club route, NHSA will put you on their mailing list, and you will get the Snow Traveler newspaper the 6 or 8 times that it gets published.

There is no break for registering early.
