Would like to keep this at 3.25" (looks great but it looks to high). What can be done with this setup to keep my ride kind of normal.Do they make a front drop bracket, that would be great. Or should I just drill new holes for bolts 2" up from this hole. That would be a 1.25" drop instead of 3.25" Any help would be usefull. Thanks

I would drill another hole 2" up from the bottom, I have a 1 1/4 drop on mine and it still looks mean.
nice work on those brackets mine are just steel, that polished aluminium is a nice touch

Hey O-F-M1k
3.25" looks really meaner. I kind of thought thats what I will have to do.Hey Can I move the RRSS blocks further back(2 holes) to help weight transfer. After installing I looked back and said holyshit I love this look.Trying to keep that look..Whats your sled look like.I see you have 03 xcsp 600.Thanks

Also can I just remove the front limiter strap to bring the front rail down .Do I really need the limiter strap?..Thanks
Xc Special
i KNOW you havn t rode it like that, youd need arms the size of the terminator to steer it,

the rear shock will be collasped so far it will be bottomed out on the R scissor block,{COUPLED ALL THE TIME]

you will be sliding on to the tank all the time,
NO weight transfer ,front ski shocks will be almost collasped,, front skid shock will do nothing,,, TRENCHING ,,,
THERES more bad effects to list BUT

IT looks cool, but thats a bad idea,, should mention , get in some hardpack, IT WILL OVER HEAT FOR SURE!

BUT IT DOES LOOK GOOD

I just put the brackets on and went right for the 3.25" holes, Ive now moved up 2" now 1.75" drop. Will this ensure a better ride?

Two freinds of mine did the drop brackets to their XC's (1.75" holes) they said it works much better in the deep snow when carving. But like Xc special said overheating was an issue for the XC 800 ,but was fixed with an extra cooler in the back. The other sled is a XC 500 and has had no problems what so ever. Both sleds had to crank up the shocks in the front (too much ski pressure). On the first ride we had it dialed in within an hour.

Do not take out the limiter strap. A buddie of mine likes to do trackies, so he took his out, the front of the rail hooked his track window and chucked him over the bars at about 60 MPH. It was not good, a cop stopped because he saw him superman thru the air and helped us crowbar the rail out of the track(just to get him close to home), a rail and a track later, he drilled some new holes in the limiter strap and hasn't had a problem.

HOLY SHIT Don't worry Im not going to take the strap off after hearing that story. Thanks For all your help!!!
