I am currently looking for a skid plate for my 03 xc800 and have noticed that there are a few different styles. some look like they are wide and some are narrow, i need some help on what to get, if you can post some pics up and let me know what type it is. i am especially interested in the polaris extreme skid plates, since they look wider and have better coverage of the bellypan. here is a pic of my sled i want to put it on, probably a black one.

The pictures just show many models, the edge ones are all about the same. The Polaris ones, I'm pretty sure, are even made by Holeshot. I will be adding them to ours this fall, well worth it, I just never got around to it.

I've also heard there are 2 different models, the standard one and a heavy duty, which is wider and also thicker.
I've got the std skid plate on my 02, it saved me at least once, when I bent a radius rod instead of breaking it.

I got this skidplate off ebay for cheap. It's a polaris namebrand.
