Looking at these on the Royal Dist website. I would like to replace the metal skis on my wife's 93 580. Anyone ever buy a set and how were they? My main reason for looking at these is the price. She won't notice a difference with a more expensive ski.

I do know I almost bought a set, however I know someone who did and here is the skinny. 1) They are inexpensive 2) They are heavy - very little weight saving as their is a lot of metal bracketry. 3) because of the metal they do not flex. 4) If you want a set of plastic ski's to fit the prowler style spindle post a WTB in the classifieds. I got a set of all plastic Universal fit OEM AC skis. They are awesome and I only paid 100 US. Thanks to Tigger a HCS member. They are unbelieveable in the difference in sterring and the little scrub bumps they absorb. Make the old wildcat feel like a kitten!
