this may sound like a stupid question, but how the do u take the a arms off. just wondering becuase ive never done it and i dont want to break something.

Just remove the allen head cap screw that screws into the top of the spindle for the top A-arm and then remove the nut and bolt that mounts the lower A-Arm to the spindle.
Lastly remove the four nuts and bolts that mount the A-arms to the bulkhead.

Don't forget swearing at the plastic that's in the way of the four bolts while you take them off.

^^^ I did alot of that when I took mine off last weekend. Gear Wrenches saved me in that situation!

I liked doing them with all of the plastic off the sled, nice and wide open, nothing in your way.

Don't forget to mark your spindle location so when you put them back together your skis are pointing straight.

I use a chisel to make a line on the spindle and a matching one on the steering arm. Line the two up and you're good.

Gotta use the cold chisle! First spindles I did (1986 Indy 400) i "marked" them with a grease pen. Well after not so carefully cleaning everything, I had no marks left for reassembly. LOL
