I'm thinking of installing the SLP High Flow Intake Kit on my 08 IQ700. Does anyone have experience with this kit and are there any gains. Thanks

I put it on at the end of the season so I didn't get to run it but in the back forty, she picked up 13mph in a 900 yard run that was with the SLP pipe/can combo as well.

Air is free HP and the more air you can get to this sled the better,or any sled for that matter.

Makes the engine throttle response better and breath better.Even though the HP gains are minimal,it's worth it.

Another good add-on is the SLP torque stop.

I would agree with what Brock had to say. IMO there was more to be gained with this kit on the 07's but even for the 08's it is still a low buck, easy to install kit. Just bear in mind it's probably gonna cost ya $100/hp and will bump ya out of stock class.
Good luck.

Great replies. I'll order the torque stop as well. I'm also re-gearing to 23/39 from the stock set up 25/41. I think that should wake it up. Thanks all

I would think the 3 tubes in the air box are the limiting factor for air flow volume. But, like the idea of the intake kit to ensure that the air is as cold as possible prior to going into the box.
