I ran PSI pipes on an old Storm 800 and it was finicky as hell. I had to jet every 10 degrees...that was no fun for a sled that wasn't that fast. I would look at a Dynoport or SLP single pipe, with a stinger, it will give you the noise you want, more power throughout the power curve and they are much easier to tune....and more forgiving.

SLP or CrankShop Twins, I do not like CPI or PSI (too finiky, less power)

your better off going crankshop. i have ran them and are very user friendly

There is no shame in the Crankshop pipes either, my bud has a set on his 800. If we race were always side by side on the lake. I would say both the SLP and Crankshop are great pipes.

What are your reason for choosing Crank Shop?

Just nead a good set of pipes two run in the hillclimb.
shell_guy
up hill and elevation are SLP terretory, I would stay away from crankshop for climbing.

i ran crankshops in hillclimbs and they rocked. i've only had success with the SLP singles, not the twins

Ya, all the mountain guys run SLP's, there know for high elevation performance............

There are mountain rider's that like the crank shop twin pipes over the SLP's too. It's all preference.

Ya I have never ran crank shop pipes before. I know that slp runs good and psi is an ok pipe two but slp sounds like the way two go.
