Full Version: USI Provides NEW White SS Railers For Our Dragon
HCS Snowmobile Forums > Snowmobile Forums > Polaris General Discussion > Fusion/IQ chassis
SLED-WERX Racing
As everyone knows by now we deal with more performance aftermarket vendors than all other dealers combined world wide! One of our favorite vendors is USI ski's ( Ultimate Sports Inc. ), who has supported 2KOOL Performance, our FROZEN THUNDER Snowmobile Forums and SLED-WERX Racing since day one!. USI and their professional and courteous staff are super people and their company's a true asset to the sport of snowmobiling. From the first time we laid eye's on the prototype pics of the 09 DRAGON SP's we were all over Kevin at USI to pump out a production run of WHITE "SS Railers", well Rick and Kevin listened and now here they are and they look KILLER!

These new white edition SS Railers will be available this fall and we'll have special SLED-WERX Racing pricing on them as we do with hundreds of great products to keep our clients move'n FAST! Try to get your orders in before August please to avoid limited color delays

As allot of you know the SS Railer version mold was shut down last winter from production due to some unfortunate machinery issues at USI. This came as a blow to our large radar clientele following who had witness our success with this particular USI ski model on our own Project FXR F7 build that went on to the fastest ever stock motor F7 top speed at 133.9mph. Kevin wasn't going to lose another year with us all over him so they worked hard to get the molds back up for production this coming fall of 08 - Big Plus for us all!

As seen below with 8" round carbide the SS Railers for our Dragon weigh in at only 8lbs 7oz each. When our promo Dragon arrives this fall we'll weigh the stock ski set up to see how they fair. Notice again the stepped bottom and the adjustable front post bar. Basically turn the tips up for aggressive trail, and adjust them down for top end radar, it's the best dual purpose ski on the market for aggressive riders

email us at sales@2koolperformance.ca or call 613 925 4015 to place your pre-season orders. The white version may be hard to come by come early winter . Canadian Ski Prices can be found on our www.sled-werx.com page here http://2koolperformance.ca/sled_werx/index.htm#skis

HCS pre-season Special pricing will be $279 CAD per set ( includes mounts $150 value ), add $69 CAD for any length, or style carbide 8" or less, ie - shaper bar or round bar

Not personally Dave, so I don't like to comment

Have tested the SPX and the SS Railer. Preferred the SS Railer for aggressive hard pack trail and of course radar/speed runs. The SPX has been replaced by the VX-301

failed to mention above that we recommend 4-6" round carbide for speed/radar runs, and normally a 6"-7.5" shaper bar for aggressive trail but to each their own, everyone likes something different. We'll start out with round bars with 8" carbide as provided by USI this season for trail but will move down to 4" for speed runs and might bump to 6" shaper bars for trail. Again this will be our first tests with the IQ chassis so there'll be allot to learn and pass on. We've added model specific forums to our own site so we'll be posting allot of info over there once winter sets in.

round bar is faster on the gun for speed

What's the price on these with the mounting hardware (if needed)?

What model will I be looking at if I do mainly aggressive trail riding?

Thanks.
