I have a 2004 F5, thinking of buying a 2003 600 Ho mxz for my wife which is faster and are there any issues with 600 mxz?

There were ring and pto seal issues. Check and see if the updates were done,do a compression test and if the price is right dont hesitate on it as a few bucks spent will bring her joy. They"re a good sled and most women love the handling, ride etc. As far as performance goes it"ll do the job on most sleds out there but expect 10-12 miles/gal. The wife rides an 03 HO and loves it and the guys she"s ran on the lake hate it.

Was the rings and pto seal more of an issue on the 700cc and 800cc and the sled I am thinking of buying has 4400miles not kms should it be good for alot more miles before I have to rebuild?

Just responded to your other thread but I thought I'd put my 2 cents in here too. Both sleds are about equally fast. I have heard people with F5's claim they top out at 98 on the speedo stock. My sled is bone stock and on a perfect day I hit 101 on the speedo.

Those f5's are sneaky. Depending on the snow conditions my buddy used to get some really good speed out of his. I know he could easly beat 583 doo's with his f5.
