I'm looking at a sv 650. Can get it for 7000 out the door it is the s model full fairings looks real nice. I just wanted to no if i will like it for a first bike. Hows to acceleration and top end Handling?

As a first bike you'll love it. It will take a while to out grow it's a great all around bike. From 0-80 it's as fast as anything out there, being a V twin the torque is awesome down low, but after 80mph it drops off somewhat, compared to an inline 4 banger. The bike is still capable of about 125-135 mph at will get there very quick. From corner to corner the SV is hard to beat, very light and nible and tons of low end torque.
