does anyone know the correct procedure for tightening the right hand side swingarm bushing assembly? ive tried and it keeps loosening up. i havent had the swing arm out yet so i dont completly understand how its supposed to work or what the torque specs are. ive ordered new bushings and will rebuild it in case the old ones are wrecked from coming loose. i just dont want to ruin the new ones. if anyone has some tips i would appreciate it. that right hand side assembly looks like a weak link in the system. im sure polaris could have made a more reliable system than what they came up with. not to mention simpler. I've had the swing arm off of mine for rebuild, the right side flots and the left side holds the swing arm tigh and in line. It's not hardto tighten but it requries taken off the clutches and housen on the left side.and while their change out bushing.

I'm not a huge fan of how the scramblers swingarm bushings are, a friend of mine has replaced his atleast three times in three years. But yes once you pull it apart you will see it isn't that diffacult just take your time and pay attention to how it comes apart.

i put some locktite on the nut and used a breaker bar to tighten it. never came loose after that. before i had just tightened it with a wrench and it kept coming off.

yea, ive tightened it twice and its loose again. what was polaris thinking? they could have put a lock washer on it or better yet, a jam nut. the loctite is a good idea. my parts guy at polaris says he doesnt sell many bushings at all. he said 2 sets in about a year. i dont know, maybe mine were'nt greased before i bought it. thanks
