are there any torque specs for the water pump housing to the crank case? should the flange bolts for the head have washers on them? if anyone has all the torque specs it would be much appreciated. thanks guys.

water pump housing bolts 22 Ft/lbs no washers, maybe some 242 locktite if you want.
Flywheel nut-- 60-65 ft/lbs
recoil hub 96-108 In/lbs

yes it does but for the head bolts ive noticed on other engines they have just like a flat washer. do i need them for my head bolts?

this should help too. does not show if there are washers, but all my sleds have them. Including my non VES 700 which has never been apart.

just grade 2 flat washers or special ones or what?

trying again. I'd check with tthe dealer to be 100%, but I would use just a standard flat washer.
