My back yard water level is about 6" down from the 100 year floodplain elevation as of this morning June 9th. Basement is still dry thanks to 2 sump pumps. Lots of water standing everywhere in SE Wisconsin.

I had 7.25" at my summer house on Lake Puckaway.
I pulled the planks out of the pier and jacked the boats up on the lift before I left yesterday, but now I heard the lake is up 2FT since Friday.
I may have to make a run up during the week to make sure the boats are OK.

Hope you guys are all ok!! Anyone by a river or lake could be in serious trouble if we get any more rain this week.
I just wish this would have been a huge snowstorm in December to get the trail systems started around here. Imagine the amount of snow this could have been

Looks like you guys in Iowa got it nastier than we did. Note to self: Live on a hill and keep electric going for sump pumps.

I got caught driving in that downpour on I-90/94 and onto I-39
I have been through Tropical depressions, tropical waves, & tropical storms in Florida and I have never seen rain come down that hard & fast.
A minivan tried to pass me in I-94 after I slowed due to hydroplaning in my truck with huge pro-comp X-terrain tires. this doofus started sliding and ended up flipping onto their top right next to me on the interstate. I got past them safely and then the cars behind me got tangled up n the wreck.
I was towing a 3,000 pound trailer at the time.
Has the levels of water dropped any yet, I heard some parts of I-94 were closed for days
