That is the way to do it! I've only been there once, and we got a room.

actually sad to see COSDRA get it again this year hopefully now that they are supposed to go by the rules instead of make up their own as they go it will be fair for everyone

Great another year of zero payouts. Hey maybe we should race trail stock or amature its easier to win the money!

The way my sled run's, I might stand a chance in stock class!!!! Bought a haydays video. Only has Sundays races on it. Did you race on Sunday? Didn't see ya on any of it.

Was watching the haydays video and took a couple of snopshots of Carmen at starting line.

Lodging should not be a problem, stay on the north side of the minne. No problem..

Yep raced in Prostock 7 went 3 rounds and Factory Mod 1 which I think it was the first class of the day.

I'm down. My sister lives in St. Paul, and I have aunts/uncles/cousins in the TC, so lodging is not a problem for us.

Good luck at Hay Days guys. I will be in the swap meet/vendor side drinking beer while you guys bust your ass racing! Not worth wasting your money when COSDRA is running it!

Allen I agree with you 120%. But I'm saddened to hear that, it is great competitors like yourself that makes grass racing what it is. I"ll be sure to have a few Lite's with after we are done!

I agree with both of you that COSDRA and the payouts sucked. I hate to say that everything was BAD. The starter seemed very consistant. Allen, I understand your point, but sitting on the sidelines at HAYDAYS?????? I still want to race with the best of the best and at one of the biggest grass drag races in the country. Wish they would have had NSRA run the race! Perry and his crew do a good job.

At this time I only plan to run the 3 SDSDRA races this summer with our FX Nytro and Apex and that's it. I will be at Hay Days in a booth space with Slydog Skis and promoting our business. The rising cost of fuel and declining pay outs are too tough on the check book. At some point and time you have to draw the line on expenses versus the return. You can't put a price on the people/fun, but at some point the line has to be drawn. If anyone wants a good running Apex let me know, the FX Nytro is already sold, just using it for the summer yet.

I am on a very low budget too and only funded by me, myself and I. I enjoy tuning and racing. But I really enjoy the people & other racers company. I'll try to make one of your races.

Don't know about this one MattK?? Check with Snofisher, we have a huge party/wedding the weekend before. Friends of ours that I set up 2.5 years ago are getting married plus it's her 30th birthday. I would love to hit Haydays again but who knows with his work schedule.

We can decide closer to the time,, Besides, Mark reminded me that the early goose season starts that weekend,, its the one we always slaughter a ton of honkers and Jeff always misses it.

Can we do this; guys slaughter honkers, gals drink blue devils until you get home?????

Sure but you going to start drinking at 5:00 am? thats about the time we get set up.

No some time in the afternoon, we will be well lit by the time you two get home....
