You can drive to some of those places, but not all.

Best advice I can give you is find a copy of the "summer map" that is put out by the Ridge Runners that contains lots of information about points of interest, locations, gate numbers etc. I think they cost $3.50 and are available at a lot of the local merchants.

Some of the places highlighted by the map are Fourth Connecticut Lake, Magalloway Mountain, Garfield Falls, The Canyon Trail, Beaver Brook Falls, Monadnock Mountain, Table Rock, Mount Sanguinary.

If you get really bored there is always a Pathfinder Kayak Tour of the channel feeding East Inlet.

Garfield Falls and Indian Stream Canyon are easily accessable, and well worth visiting.

About 17 miles up Route 3 to the Canadian Border and then about a mile and a half down the hill to Chartierville, PQ.

I will be taking some friends to Pittsburg June 28th for some hiking. Going to take them up Stub and Magalloway. Maybe if we get done early enough we'll take a drive to Boundry Pond. Hopefully it isn't foggy like it was last year for me. They've never seen this part of NH. I told them the drive is well worth the beauty.
