I was in the house the other day when it sounded like someone was trying to steal my 660. so i ran out to my barn to find the thing cranking over all on its own. no key, kill switch off, no tricle charger...NOTHING so i start taking out relays and that didnt stop it so i un hooked the battery.

it has sat for afew days now and i cant figure it out, there is nothing touching the back of the starter to short it out.

why would it turn it's self over like that. need some help on this one guys

Thanks
Andy

Does it have the remote start feature. If it does, my guess would be something gone haywire with the electronis on the sled, associated with the remote start. There is also the cold weather start to warm up feature as well. Maybe it was cold! Kind of scary how that could happen. Makes a good arguement for removing the battery during storage! It could probably happen anytime. If the kill switch was not on, it would probably start. If the battery in the remote is low, could it cause this to happen? Possibly the ECU needs to be replaced? Good luck with it.

No remote start in this sled, and it was 70* outside so i dont think the sled was cold. ive have looked the sled over and cant find anything visualy wrong with the wiring

Solenoid could have got stuck and same with the ignition switch. I've had that happen before with the ignition switch. There is a spring inside of the solenoid if that broke or slipped it would short out and could cause the starter to crank. Can you send me a wiring diagram of it, or know were one is? If you can that would help out a lot.
