I'm trying to decide what kind of sled to get and I'm coming from a switchback with a 144x1.5 studded track and I am wondering what you guys think I will like better. On one hand i could buy a crossfire and get it extended to a 144 with maybe a 1.5 or 2 inch lug. but the other hand should I just buy an M sled 144 and maybe put a 1.5 on it (don't even know if they make one). my riding is some aggressive trail riding like 30% but mostly playing in meadows and hills with some powder on them. I really like my switchback and the versatility it offers but i am just fed up with the local Polaris dealer. also my switch is for sale if anybody is interested pm me also listed on hcs. thanks in advance.

the m is just not cut for anyting aggresive on trail! i have a crossfire 7 whit 1.7xx" track (44mm) and my friend have a 141 m7. i alsow ride about 70-30% powder-trails
i can go just about anywher (almost) that the m goes in the deep. but i have to work twise as hard to do it and the m is alot more FUN to ride offtrail. no question about that.
on ruff trails it is a different story. the m is not even close to the cf! the rear suspension feels lika a flag in the wind if you ask me. and if you keep pounding it the skid tends to break.
some people say the m is fine on the trails.... and if you ar one of them then buy the m!
but if you do as mutch as 30% "aggresive" trailriding then i think that the cf is a better choice for you.

The new Crossfire has been stretched to 143, or something like that, and the new Swtichback is supposed to be moving to a 136. Go figure.
