D&D has done a lot of testing on this. Problem is this motor's factory fuel calibration is already "lean best power" out of the box. Any increase in airflow results in a decrease in power. Adding fuel with a boondocker can compensate, but have not been able to make any power gains here. Now the z1 turbo is another story. Factory calibration is on the rich side, so increasing the flow of the muffler increases power significantly by increasing turbine efficiency and leaning out a/f ratio - not safe for long term use without adding fuel, though. Sound is another problem alltogether. Working hard to get decent sound out of this motor. Sounds sick and so far, quieter is better. Anyway, weight reduction is significant, with the stock can weighing nearly 20 lbs.

I 'll ride a 137 mph. leaf blower anyday. Sound=Who cares. Speed+e.t.= Take care.
