Well I need a seat or cover for my 02 rmk any way so what are my options as far as going taller I know the boss or shorty race seats are available but they are spendy. I know a few of the prox guys have put rev seats on, but that looks like alot of work. Has anyone tried a raw rmk or iq rmk seat and tank? or the iq racer seat?

There is one guy on here that has fitted an IQ tank/seat to his GenII, along with a diamond plate console. Looks absolutely killer!

Something like this? Not really that bad of a job, it only requires slightly changing the steering hoop and post, hood and gauge panel, console, airbox, wires and brakes, and oil and coolant tanks. I've rode an 00 xc with a boss seat and found it pretty comfortable. I just not a big fan of the "drop down" style pro x shorty seat.
