I HAVE A 1983 JAG 340 AND IT WONT START.IT HAS FRESH GAS AND OIL AND NEW PLUGS.CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A IDEA OF WHAT TO DO.THANKS,,,,,

I'll bite. Does it have spark? all you need is spark and fuel to run, what one is missing? New plugs and fresh gas mean nothing.

pull the plugs and spray a little either in the plug holes and see if she kicks over on that, or just let the plug lay on the head and pull it over and check for spark... if you have spark it's a fuel related problem, keep us updated on the issue we can coach you on what to do and what to check for...

83 jag 340, what i would do is take the gas cap off and throw at match at it from about 3-feet away and watch it burn, then go buy me something new.... j/k sounds like it might be a stator problem.

Don't forget ya need compression too.
Check it with a gauge with the throttle wide open.

Hey punk do you know how to read?? if you read my post again you can see that i put j/k whichs means (JUST KIDDING) in case your that ignorant and don't know what that means, then i added what i thought what might be the problem to help the man out so bite my ass little bitch boy!
