does anyone have any info on how reliable the motors of the 2000--1 triples are. are there any known problems that these motors seem to have

bullet proof! Re-ring every 5-6000 miles and it will pretty much last for ever.

Earlier models 98-99 the cranks would go out of phase. Simple fix to get the crank trued and welded. I would guess that 90% of these early models have been fixed by now.
