Did you try the Bikeman pipe mod or any other mods to get the power where it should be? If so what were your results? I'm sure you tried some clutching adjustments. Any head to head comparisons with the XP Summit 154" or M8 153"? Just looking to get as much info as possible before I buy a different sled. Still undecided on brand, leaning toward the RMK but not if the power is unacceptable.
I'm not here to bash you Chris, just looking for info. Polaris doesn't pay me to ride so I'll ride whatever performs.

Thanks,
Joel
Joel, power wise its nearly identical to an M7 and in short bursts is close to my old M6 (but longer pulls the torque does show up). The 800R motor in an XP is way more powerful, but I hate hate hate the XP chassis (and to ride a doo I'd have to be a douche bag). My sled is stock other than an HPS can, clutching is stock, pipe is stock, chassis is stock. Factory clutching is close for 6-9K in powdery snow, in Cooke it was awful but thats my fault for not changing the helix, secondary clutch was on fire after a long climb and it couldn't do back to back climbs.
I really really really like the Raw chassis, it is close to an M chassis with a boss seat but there's just something different about the Raw. I'm a bigger guy and I think being thats its a tad bit beefier chassis that helps me, if you're smaller you might like the M chassis better. I feel as if I am a better rider on the Dragon compared to an M.
For next year bare minimum will be clutching (hopefully someone will come up with an easily adjustable weight for these things like the cutler weights for the Cats) and pipe mod. If everything falls into place I'll be doing a pump gas turbo kit.
Next week I think I'll be tearing into the sled to see what all I broke on it this winter, but I think it survived pretty well.
Chris.
