4. August 30 & 31 Harrowsmith Ontario - $ 6000 Bonus Purse + 100% Payback - Track will be Redone along with another 100ft of trees taken out in the Shutdown.

5. Sept 6 & 7 Hay Days Forest Lake MN- Tentative Till Contract is Signed.

6. Sept 13 & 14 Holley NY Regular Event Purse TBA - Irack has been Levelled-Clay Starting Line-Lots of Shutdown

7. Sept 20 & 21 Kitchener Ontario Regular event Purse TBA- Track has been Levelled- Nice Clay Starting Line

8. Sept 27 & 28 Gaylord Michigan - Regular Event Purse TBA. Track is all Clay + Sprinkler System.

9. Oct 4 & 5 Onsted Michigan - Home of the Michigan Cup & Ohara Cup - Regular Event - Purse TBA.

10. Oct 11 & 12 Hastings 500 - MSA Show lots of racers, Vendors, Spectators - Regular Event - Purse TBA.

11. Oct 18 COSDRA TOP GUN SHOOTOUT- GAYLORD Michigan- 8 Shootout Classes Only. Sunday will be if weather does not cooperate.

12. Oct 25 & 26 South Mountain Ontario- Regular Event - Bonus Purse TBA.

13. Nov 1 & 2 Gananoque Ontario Season Championships Purse TBA

I can vouch for the event at Holley NY. Went there last year and thought it was a pretty good event. This year shows more promise with the track being levelled even better. Lots of camping, and a good number of vendors as well as good spectator support. Gotta pick another one to attend to cover some sponsor commitments, any body else got one that they thought was ok. Just racing 600,800 amateur.

There are test and tune days at CJF performance's private strip in Welland throughout the summer. But I'm not sure on the dates.

The races at Harrowsmith always had big amatuer entries. I would expect the same to show up at Gananoque and South Mountain. Kitchener is also a good race for amatuers, take your pick(s).

Thanks for the info guys. Does anyone know how I can find out the dates for CJF Performance test and tune days. Never been grass dragging before and would prefer to get some expeince under my belt before I start entering events.

they have them in peterborough where anyone can do it. I think ill be doing it this year.

I went to the Harrowsmith drags a few times, always a good time. ATV and dirt bike trails right on the property, great end of the day camping and all night partying. Shame they had to cancel last years, but good to see their back up and running

2K RACING will be there to attempt to lay the smack down on 809racing, that includes their waterboy Doc1!!Sorry Doc1 you are now a member of 809racing due to your motor, but you are a newbie, hence the waterboy status. If ironleg22 decides to take another summer off you may get bumped to full fledged member. I am not a member of that team so I do not know I am only concerned with the MEMBERS of TEAM2K... see ya there....

Wow, I am now a member of team 809 racing? I'll take the waterboy status. Plans for this year are to kick some ass should be much faster this year.............. The sled doesn't even overheat anymore!! So now we can concentrate on making it faster!! We will be dialing in the 03 rev 440/700 also.

809 Racing is having an official Members Only meeting on Sat. May 31st at 9:00pm at the Comm Park by the airport, BE THERE! There will be prizes for the person that makes up the funniest meaning for '2K' racing, start writing them down....!

As for the Peterborough races I went last year to 1 event and it was a waste of time and money... Very poor track, digging up rocks at the starting line and a cross road or path near the finish line make it very hard on the machines..

Gananoque track is starting to look good. Should be a fun time.

It used to always fall on on my family reunion weekend so I was already out that way. This year the two are not coinciding, but seeing as it's such a good event I'm willing to make the trip out just for that.

Nice to see everyone is at thier best. An update on our grass track, we tore up the track to level and reseed after last fall, looks to be growing nice now. In the next couple of weeks I'm going to trench in some new wiring for the finish line and start line, everything is going to be under ground, photo cells will be permanantly mounted and left at the track for the season, this will prevent them from getting bumped or whatever, will also reduce set-up time from 1hr to about 10min. Once I get started I'll post any items that I may be in need of. Hope to have some test and tune in July sometime. My # is 905-386-6774. Thanks Chad.

On a sad note: The 98 Mach Chris Whiteford drove last fall is no longer with us, it perished in a fire at Mitch's farm this spring, it will be missed.

I have found out through the years speed is all about power to weight ratio. The 225lbs seemed to hurt me this winter. In an unprecedented event I have built a new driver........Dylan Micheal Harry Andrews 7lbs 8os. Debut is unknown..2011?
The stable is buried, with no plans of pulling any of them out, although I do have some new reed petals......

Josh, besides your friends crazy sled, what are you actually going to be running at the local grass drags? Is your friends sled actually coming to Canada? Where is 2K racing based, Fenwick or Michigan? I'm sorta confused on what your whole race program is? What class does your friends sled qualify to, 'unlimited open', not trying to be sarcastic, just wondering.

That sled is not a member of 2K racing and will not be at any races that we will be at. 2K racing is all green this year and will be running 700 stock and improved,800 stock and improved and open class hopefully with success for all involved. We have been working very hard to try and assure that our lower hp'd sleds have a good showing against 809 racing but I have recently acquired some secret testing footage that leaked from the 809 racing camp and I must say, 2K racing's success does seem in jeopardy.....

We don't want to know what your "team" is running. We want to know what YOU are running.
No one has heard of your so called "2k switch-camps-race -a-team".

All everybody wants is to come out and race. At the end of the day, it's not if you win or loose. It's knowing that you tried your best, your sled ran good, and whether or not you raced fair and diden't cheat.

When do the grass drags start?? I think once they start all the BS will stop and we will be too busy working on our sleds. The 03 440/700 should be fast now!! Hopefully it does 80mph in 500', instead of 85 in 1320'!! The mod sled will be faster than last year, how much faster who knows? The goal is 90mph on gps in 500'! Or is Chad's course 660'?

It looks like the South Mountain fair board has scrubbed the race this year. That's a real kick in the ass for the poor racer who put all the effort into building the starting line and a decent enough track (that has apparently been much improved for this year), to take it all away after only one race!

Yes, Chad's having grass races this year! When I talked to him last he said end of July or early August. I have been on other sites. The mod sled WILL be faster!! The 03 REV 440/700 will be out in full force also!

looks like 2K racing will be loading up one of the members 4place trailers and the dually and heading to the states for a test and tune, my sled added some weight tonight in the form of a heart..
