i got no key switch, and the handwarmers and headlight dont work. Also no high or low beam. I have no handwarmers but the yellow wire hooked up to the switch for them is cut. When the sled is running the gauges and rear tail light light up, however when i get up to a certain rpm the gauges dim out. I dont want to burn out my stator.
The handwarmers switch with the yellow wire, runs into the a big harness. Is that the power wire? If so can i wire into that yellow wire and Connect it to hte power wire for my headlight??
I can see a brown and yellow wire coming from my headlights. What do I need to do to get my lights working?
Thanks guys.

Do you have a high/low beam switch for your lights? If not thats the first thing you need to get hoooked up. To save the cost of the Hi/Low switch you could build a little jumper and find the plug for this switch and just jump the lights "ON". The Yellow is the power wire and you will want to jump to the Yellow/Red for High beam or the Green for low beam. So that was: Yellow to Green for Low beam and Yellow to Yellow/Red for High beam.
Yellow is also the power for the hand warmers. To make the warmers work on high you connect the Yellow to the White/Grey & Blue/Red. To get the warmers to work on low you connect the Yellow to the Orange/Grey & Blue wires.
You regulator us working exactly how its suppose to, dimming the brake lights as the RPM raise. Once you put a little more load on the system (get the headlights hooked up) the regulator will not have to do this and the dimming issue will go away.
Hope this helps, ask again if you don't find wires the color I mentioned above.

Thanks! that was my problem, i had no light switch, so i ran a wire from the yellow wire that goes into the handwarmers to the yellow/red. and lights work. I didnt want to have nothing and burn out my stator. Thanks alot.
