I travel to Newport VT once a month and take a trip up to the duty free just over the border from Derby Line. Every month I pick up a supply of Molson Hi Dry. Well this past Wednesday I made the trip to discover no more Hi Dry on the shelf. WTF? I asked the manager who simply told me Molson Hi Dry is no longer being produced.
I wrote to Molson yesterday and this is the response I received. I can't believe it's true....I'll have to switch to Wildcat now..

Dear Dave:

Thanks for your e-mail about Molson Hi Dry. Like you, we thought this product was an excellent one. We were very proud of it. Unfortunately, it didn't sell very well.

While Molson Hi Dry did well in specific segments of the market, it didn't meet the company's overall sales volume expectations. After ongoing evaluations, a decision was made to discontinue the marketing and production of this product.

We appreciate your concern and have passed along your comments to brand management.

If you have other questions or comments, Dave, please contact us again either by e-mail at www.molson.com or by calling the Consumer Information Center Hotline at: 1-800-665-7661. The center is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, and the staff will welcome your comments.
