The 800 from POLARIS will be throwing out 155+HP come the start of next season. Putting on aftermarket crap will just make it run like a dog.

On who's dyno? Never happen Cause Casey's(team bayport) only made 139 on dyno tech's dyno and that is gospel! I dynoed one and found problems with the #$%^^ but i can't talk about it. Then we tried to change the @#!#$# but i can't tell you what that did. THEN bozo and i tried something we never tried before, and wham! She really came to life, but again i can't tell what that did. And don't even try to guess or speculate, cause i'll whine like a little bitch, and try reverse psychology, and say "oh yeah, i know nothing, and you guys know it all" and try to play my "i raced this and that" card but again, NOT TELL YOU A F'IN THING. BUT STAY TUNED TO FIND OUT WHAT THE F#$K is so exciting at dynotech. I'm so glad i did.

Im not saying Dynotech is wrong, but don't you find it funny that with both the 07-08 700's and with the 09 800 that the answer to all the problems seems to be a product from BMP. I don't see how they can get 13-15 Hp out of a pipe mod when SLP's twins are getting 14 and that's with a blend of race fuel, intake mods and an ECU mod. I have an 09 800 coming and hopefully it is what they said it would be. I think the biggest issue is weather or not it's going to come withthe new secondary rather than the P.O.S. team.

Can someone post the link to the video of the guy running the 800 on a lake and hitting 115 mph (plus or minus).

After owning a 2008 Dragon 700 Switchback last season, my friend snow checked a 2009 800 Dragon.

Mike, how can a D&D Y pipe make 10-12 hp gains on the cat 1000 motors? Also, don't forget that the only pipes Dynotech tested were the ones provided by Polaris, SLP and BMP. Whos to say that the HTG pipe or someone elses wont make similar power gains to BMP's?

This post isn't a bash towards Dynotech at all.(At least not from what i can tell) I believe he's making light of the whole situation with the last post where the original poster got everyone all fired up with the hopes of finding out what their newly ordered sleds were going to do on the dyno, and then NEVER delivered the goods as far as an explanation on what they found.

Polaris guys don't really give 2 sh*ts about pre-season Dynos. In the end when you have The BEST ride and Handling in the Industry and your suspension rules the race track....Domination on the trails and Hills justs comes naturally....We don't need BS HP claims.

800 Dragon, I made the mistake of unignoring your post. Please accept my apology for not being involved in snowmobiling as much as I would like for the past 3 years due to work committments. I didn't realize that a potential 2008 snowchecker couldn't come and ask questions and read about a possible sled to purchase. I didn't realize that this Polaris forum for was "current" Polaris owners only. I am not brand loyal and anyone that is is missing out in my opinion. I haven't owned a Polaris for quite sometime but was/am seriously considering it. Coming to this forum was supposed to help me make up my mind. Instead, on this forum you get alot of spam posts by people like yourself who say their sled is the best and has never ever been beaten in any situation. Yup, thats realistic and helpful. It took me a day to realize that you have zero credibility when it comes to adult snowmobiles yet you make up 1/3 of the posts. Please hold off on your childish 3 word with emoticon response.

Why is it wrong to question the performance of the Polaris 800? I have talked with many reputable people in my area that have run this sled against other sleds and the results have been less than desirable. Yet you see posts on here that this machine is unbeatable. Why the discrepancy? Then a reputable dyno facility posts two runs with lower than claimed hp. As a consumer it is my right to ask Polaris why? So far, they have not answered that. And for anyone to ignore these numbers is foolish.
