I am looking at a 1995 zrt 800 with a 1050 hooper motor in it. i ws just wondering if theses are solid motors and about how much HP they put out. sled/motor only has 1,952 miles, and is mint.

i ment to say hooper

They are good motors and depending on pipe and timing combination I have seen them pull anywheres from 180 to 210 hp. Hooper has always produced good running motors that are trail friendly. Do a compression check and look at the waterpump. If everything checks out go for it.

anywhere from 120-150 psi. past that is race gas. below that the engine starts to have slow sled syndrome. They are great motors. Since its in an old chassis, wheelies will be as comon as clutch engagement. There crazy fast.

will it be worth it? i know it has a 97' skid, just hoping that it won't a sled that disappoints
