Have an odd one for you all.... Noticed drips of oil under one of my thundercats yesterday that has me stumped. I know it is not chain case lube because the fluid i use for that is red. quick check of the oil reservoir and that looks good... any clues where this could be coming from? looks like it is time to pull the air box and belly pan.......

any help would be great...

On my 95 ZRT the oil pump has 3 oil lines with check valves and a 4th bleed valve sealed off with a bolt. I had the bolt loosen up enough to cause an oil puddle in the garage last summer.

Now my 99 ZL is dripping oil. wall.gif

I will have to pull everything apart to see where it is coming from. If I recall, on the 2000's I thought there was only one inlet and outlet oil line on the pump. Be a good chance to update the steering once the belly is off. When I install the reverse kit I will double check the chain case too...

Fun Fun!!

I was thinking that too. There might still be a bleed valve of some sort. I usually put on a clean glove and feel around down there. Unpleasant mental image.
