I put a 2006 600 H.O. motor in my 07 440 chassis and everything was great until it started dumping all of the gas into the motor and into the exhaust and i'm talking gallons of gas. i am using the 600 fuel pump. i can not figure out what is going on the only thing that i think it might be is that the pump is mounted upside down let me know.

Thanks Ben

You switched the Crankcase pulse line and an outlet line? If not, Ripped fuel pump diaphragm? Bad needle and seats?

That pretty much covers it. It just about has to be one of the things Craig mentioned. I would start with the bad needle/ seat or a needle stuck open.

I ran into the same problem. Once it was plastic from the fuel fittings when they originally installed them and the plastic piece held the needle and seat open. The other time was my fault, pinched a bowl gasket. I mounted the fuel pump 180 degrees opposite from stock to put the pulse line as low as possible to get rid of excess fuel build up from the pulse line. I also did the intake modification and added the V force spacer kit. More info here: http://www.jspowersports.com/polaris_iq_44..._conversion.htm
