Subject: Attention: Important Community Meetings Scheduled
Attention All Snowmobilers;
26 community meetings will be held across Nova Scotia between May 12 and June 12 (see below or see attachment) in effort to gather citizens’ views about the future of the provinces’ natural resources. Please plan to attend one of these meetings to voice your views in regards to the continuation of managed snowmobile trails on Crown Land. There are many competing interests who will be keen to get their points of view voiced and if we are not well represented and vocal during this exercise, we run the risk of not being considered in Nova Scotia’s future plans for crown lands.
If you are unable to attend one of these meetings, but still want to participate, written submissions are welcome by July 31, 2008. Citizens are encouraged to get involved by reading the conversation starter, filling out the online submission form or writing an email to the committee.
