What can you tell me Oh wise one, about the weather around Craftsbury/Albany this weekend? I am framing up the new camp this weekend and see conflicting reports all over the NET. I am committed to this Friday through Monday to get it weathertight, how wet do you think we will get? Mostly at night I HOPE!

Thanks for asking! Here's the deal....you will have dry weather Friday - midday Saturday. The pattern will feature pop-up afternoon showers Saturday Afternoon and again Sunday Afternoon. This is due to some cold air aloft responding to sunshine and you get these developing afternoon showers. Prime time for rain drops will be after 2PM and diminishing at or just before sunset. I hope this helps........ Again...NOT a washout! -Gil

Gil,
Thanks for the reply, you don't sound nearly as negative as some of the "others"
Maybe we "bust hump" Friday and Saturday then drink more beer during the showers!

Don,
Thanks, It's coming out really well (for a bunch of hackers)
No, we haven't spent alot of time drinking, just at night around the fire.
We are hanging the 16' 2X12's for the porch rafters Friday, they will go from where the roofing ends now out over the porch.
Pray for good weather for both of us!

A shower or two Friday...not all day rain.
Mainly dry Saturday...with a slight sprinkle threat high elevations.
DRY all day Sunday.
Have everything sealed up for Monday. Looks to me like some downpours or a few thundershowers from mid morning on Monday.
An early shower Tuesday followed by clearing & dry weather for most of the day.
I hope this helps!

Those porch joists should be pressure treated, especially that close to the ground. they are gonna rot eventually

The whole building should be higher off the ground. last seasons snow depths should be a good indication off why.
