Larger upper idler wheels and skid setback in the chassis. I have not tried it but it can be done to make a 141 a 144.

You will also NEED to change drivers if you go to the 141" track from the newer CAt sleds (3" pitch compared to your 2.52" pitch!)

i dont know if 800$ is worth the difference between 136 and 141 unless you wanted to go taller and wanted the extro 3.0 drivers for running looser track tension.
if i was dead set on going to 141 from 136 i would look at the 09 float set up. kit on 09 accy catalog for 500ish , so that , 09 rails ( 250) and other things ( 150 ) , and a new track .. ( 500 )

Would this be the same for a 136 to 144? I was thinking about lengthening my c700 this year. Is there any way to run the narrower m track?

The M track isnt narrower. They are both 15" wide.

I have a set of 144 extentions for a 2006 crossfire 7. I changed it on mine to make it better in mountains but to be honest if I was going to do it again I would also put different gears in it like what the m-series has. I had a 03 f7 151 that would eat up my crossfire but I put mountain gears in it. Didnt do it to the crossfire 7 because I didnt want to switch the diamond drive. The lower gears would have made a huge difference

I extended my 08 xfire. Purchased ext from Ollies, a no brainer bolt on and fit great! Put a 1.5 Ripsaw on it and very noticeable difference. I've owned 2006 600 xfire, and and 2007 and 2008 xfire 800's as well. sled has great bite in POW and can throw it around easier than an M, IMO.
