I have two 3x9 scopes. I am getting ready to sight them in and was wondering what most people sight their guns in on, high or low power. I have been told both, just wondering what you do.

I sight mine in on high power because it is zoomed in farther and there is less being covered by the cross hairs so it will be more accurate.

I sight mine in zoomed as well because on a 3X9 you will have it zoomed most of the time anyway unless you hunt in a lot of trees and then the difference when sighting in is not a factor.

I personally don't think it would matter though. Zoomed or not the crosshairs do not move and that is what you sight in. Not what you see?

this is correct!it doesn't matter.at 100 yards, you would want it set at max mag.just so you can see your target.just remember, one click=1/4" at 100 yards.no matter what mag setting you are on.if you shoot, and the bullet hits a half inch below the bullseye,2 clicks up.
