Don't be fooled, the Adirondack council is a group opposed to snowmobiling. The reason they are complaining is because they don't want anyone to lobby on behalf of snowmobiliers. If it was not for the ADK council the NYSSA would not have to spend as much money on lobbying to keep our sport alive. Now as for the state taking funds from the trail fund, that is a different story that needs to be addressed by the NYSSA. The ADK council is blowing smoke with this issue on the money being spent on lobbying, trust me they are using contributions to their group to do the same thing, they just don't want any opposition from snomobilers so they can push their agenda of getting rid of snowmobiling in NY state especially in the Adirondaks!

We're working on a reply-is it pandering or just lazy journalism? The ADK dictated a story and they went with it without bothering to fact check. I suggested, since facts/fact checking are not part of Channel 5 Syracuse way of doing business, maybe we should inform them that the ADK is funded by Castro's Cuban Government? I mean, why let facts get in the way..........
