I just recently purchased a 1991 Trx 250x with a FMF Megamax pipe. The problem is, there were no discs or end cap and I need to get some & find out how many to run and If anyone has any extras laying around because FMF said it was discontinued and cant get them, I need to buy some already checked ebay no luck...

i bought a fmf mega max in 05 and it has 6 disks and a end cap over the whole exhust with a spark arrestor in it if that helps

i got a mega max II and was wondring if more discs makes it louder? or less discs makes it louder????

take out all the disks and it makes it louder. the more disks the quiter NOTE: you cant run 1 disk or youll strip out the bolt and another thing when you take out all the plates it give it a lil more bottom end pop but your gears feel shorter and with all the disks it makes the gears feel really long hope this helps

ya what "ronm20" posted is true. but i found that I have 12 disks and a end cap and the quad has more bottom end and a hole lot of top end. Witch I like.

are you trying to buy the end caps and disks?....if so go to your local dealer and ask them can they still be ordered from fmf
