I got a 18' v nose i would get rid of very nice all finished and insulated

Purchased a 14' Sno Pro V-nose drive-in/drive-out three years ago from Perfection. I live nearby and know Pete - may not be the cheapest, but selection is good and service is top notch. Still has some on the lot - (802) 434-2239. Also sells snowmobile parts/accessories and clothing.

I have also dealt with perfection and they are top notch but not cheap.

I would avoid Brown's in South Londonderry. Customer service is pretty shoddy there.

Thanks for the input ...... I guess I'll give Lucky's and Perfection a look-see. I just cannot get over the differences is prices from one place to another.

I did consider buying "use" again, but after seeing what happens to trailers after they get soma age on them,I wont buy one any older than an 06 or 07.(and most people want nearly "new" price for them..)
My trailer is a 98(yacht club/steel),and is no longer road worthy (rusted and patched too many times for me to trust anymore). A buddy of mine had his trailer (alluminum/dont remember what brand) break right above the axel, and that one was only 6 or 7 yrs old. My cousin had his axel break on his (galvenised) and I think his was newer than mine. So I suggest to anyone who uses their trailer alot,to really, thoroughly ,inspect you trailer regularly during use. These things dont last very long. (well,10yrs I guess isnt that bad.....but....) regular washing and mantainance helps too.......

Bought mine thru Pro Lite alum trailer its 3 place inline all alum but I think they make clam shells. I use mine year around for my dock and boat lift business in the off season. Its very lite weight 1400 empty I easily pull it with my 1/2 ton truck or Tahoe. Give them a look.

Yeah,I've looked at them, they come to the Grass drag /watercross in Fremont NH every year. They usually have a SMOKIN deal on their show models. If I havnd found a "deal" by Oct. I"ll buy one at the show in NH.

I bought my High Country Enclosed from Perfection in 2002, good people and great service.
Not sure why High Country (Vermont company) stopped making em....gonna have Pete give it a good look see this Fall before trailering this winter especially the info posted here. I have cleaned it regularly both during the season & off season. You know regular maintenance but not sure what to look for as far as welds.
I looked at Lucky's too but choose local to my area for all the reasons mentioned here.

I wish these trailer places would list prices, instead of saying "call for info and pricing" I feel like i'm being a P.I.T.A. to keep calling them and asking "how much is this one?" "ok,thanks" then call back again later.......seems it would be more productive to have a price listed within the info. Then I wouldnt have to keep buggin them...lol

What are you guys paying for your trailers??

Lucky's has an 05 11' "EXTREME" flat, drive on/off,w/high profile cap, for $3150 seems a little steep to me for an almost 4yr old used trailer. but I dunno, its been a while since I've shopped for "NEW" trailers ,and nobody is listing their prices online,so I can't tell without calling everyone....

Thanks

Mine was $2300 new from Perfection Motorsports. Its a 10' x 101" aluminum tilt bed High Country w/ Snopro cap w/ 10" tires, tongue jack & spare. That was in 2002 & yours is longer (11') & a drive/on off. I added ski guides & mats & maintain it real good. Guess I am gonna have to stay with what I got. Are you set on drive on / off? There has to be less expensive new ones out there especially with the economy today.

No,I am not set on a drive on/off ,it just seems like a good idea (specially for one person operation) but I"d be content with A double tilt, like the one I have, but maybe an 11 footer and I need the "high profile" cap to clear windshields on rider forward sleds. I would consider used if its only a couple yrs old or newer for the right price.
I was going to try to get an inline or something, but getting in and out of tight spots is an issue ,so I"ve decided to stay w/ a smaller double.

On the tilt bed, I got the little shock undernealth in the front that helps with the tilt. Has held up nicely over 6 yrs of use but I take really good care of my stuff. The low profile ski guides make the sleds practically slide out once tipped up. I highly recommend them & have not ever had a problem taking my sleds off and on by myself.

The cap is high profile too, got extra head room for 4 wheelers or higher profile windshields as you mentioned plus a solid access door in front.

I know Perfection sells Thule brand enclosed now, but haven't priced them in 5 years so prices I'm sure have gone up from what I paid. They look like nice quality trailers, with wishbone tongues & lots of cap color choices if it helps.

OK,I just thought I"d post a little information just in case anyone else is looking for a new trailer,or is just curious as to what a new trailer cost. (also can help as a pricing guidline for those who are looking into "used" trailers)....

I did a little shopping around (very little,to be honest) but I ended up at Perfection motorsports in Jonesville. This is the package they offered:

2008 SnoPro "EXTREME" 11' aluminum w/ clamshell
The "EXTREME" offers a 2"x5" main frame rails vs 2x2 rails, and a "Y" tongue instead of a single beam.(no pins on these either, which I like)
package comes w/ dual tilt assist shocks, adjustable tie down anchors, tie down bar "racks" for storage of bars when not in use, tongue jack, and high rise cap/clamshell (offered in 8 diff. colors)w/dual lift assist shocks and a "drop down" prop if you want to make sure it dosnt close on your head,(I've had that happen), 10" wheels/tires ,and I think it was a 2 or 3 yr. warrenty!!
Price currently is $3270
I added low profile ski guides and track mats for another $200

plus they treated me decent on my trade!!

So I ended up getting into this trailer for 2800 w/ my trade......... Glad I didnt buy used!

some people are asking that much for one that is 3 or 4 yrs old already........

Thats just what I got in 07, for about the same price at River Bend RV in St J. No problems at all and I love it except for 1 small problem, the front fold-over gasket at the clam shell hinge is not long enough to cover the whole front and it leaks when I'm trailering( water runs in) not bad but I would have expected better. Check yours when picking up and make sure it covers the whole front.

Thanks for the tip!!,I"ll make a note-to-self to check it out before I take it. A buddy of mine had that prob. on his trailer,it sucks!!
