So guys how was your season of snowmobling? Post any interesting photos or videos, or memoriable photos if you want.

So far for me, this season 1200 miles on the M1000 since i picked it up new end of Nov. about 500-600 miles on the 03 F7, the F7 missed out a lot this season due to fuel pump issues, then jackshaft bearing issues twice, then finally the mag side piston fried around early Feb.

December started off really good! lots of riding was done, then when the warm day hit in early Jan, that really ruined everything for the rest of the season.... But this season has been fairly very cold, so the lakes were really thick this year. Lakes were poor in Dec due to them not freezing enough before the first storm which resulted in rough lake riding conditions for most of the season. Around end of Feb was a good drift bashing week for me around the lakes, had fun got some serious stuckage! But march and april snowstorms were nice to have, got some good miles on the M1000 in those storms. I have finally on wednesday parked both of my sleds for the season. Its for sure done until next season! I'm looking forward to next season to be even better, seems like the cycle has changed. We will see, hopefully 08-09 season will be packed with normal Minnesota winter storms everywhere! grgrin.gif

I had a good season eventhough there was not a lot of snow this year. I put on more miles this season then I have any other year.

It was a great season. Nothing like cruising the river in -20 weather with 45 mph winds as fast as 1000cc sleds will go!!!lol beer_cheers.gif hopefully you can get the f7 up and running for next season. it would be fun to see how fast it is at the radar runs now that the track has some studs in it.

Pretty killer year... Rookie season of Sno-X was hands down my biggest accomplishment. I attempted 4 races and by my last race at Park-X I beat a-lot of guys with years of experience on me. We were lined up 10 wide on one of the biggest tracks in MN... talk about a rush!

I wish I could of ran some Hill-X's this year but I ran outta cash.

Hurley, WI was also very memorable. A buddy of mine has a sno-x practice track right outside of town. His property butts up to some powerlines with endless possibilities for free-riding. 4ft. of snow when we were there. Well worth the 4hr drive.

And then there was Grand Marais that got hit with 30"+ on top of the 15"-20" they already had on the ground. I showed up right after the storm on a monday... break'n trail.

It was a good year for me. Got my first new sled this year(new to me). Put most of my miles on in MN and it was also my first time riding in MN. It was also my first time riding groomed trails. In the middle of BFE ND we dont have any groomed trails. So that made it easy to put on miles being so smooth. Finished off the season by having a newly serviced DD lock up due to a lack of oil in it.

This was also my first winter using this website which was very fun, useful, and time consuming, but in a good way.

I hope some of the MN HCS members get together and ride. I would like to meet up and do some riding with some new people.
