can any one tell me if a seat from an 04 800 classic will fit on my 02 700 xc

it should bolt right on if its the same size seat and if there both from edges which they are i dont see why they wouldn't

thats what i thought but some body told me the tanks were different.

It should bolt right up. Ive had just about every seat for the EDGE chassis on my sled (with the exception of the PASS seat) and they all bolt right up.
The only ones that dont bolt right up are the Pro-XR seats and even with those all you need to do is drill 2 new holes.
As long as the Classic isnt a 2-up touring sled, I dont see where you will have a problem.

Sorry to hyjack this post but are there any 2 up seats that will fit an 02 800 XC ?

well i bought the seat, every one but 1 guy thinks it will fit. i'll find out in a week or so. thanks for the input.

seat fit perfect, looks good to. now i need to finish the rest.

just a warning before you do the same thing i did in my old sled. don't put anything in the trunk of that seat u don't one bouncing around and rap everything in a cloth or paper or something. otherwise itll bounce like a mother and wear through the bottom of the trunk haha

I was wondering how warm it gets in the trunk with the coolant hosegoing through it. I like to bring a couple of bottles of water with me, but they would freeze in my xlt, now they will most likley be to warm.

mine gets pretty warm deffenetly warm enough to keep it thawed

How did you get rid of the red and gray from the seat??

Need to know I have the same style seat goin on my edge-xcr and don't like the colors

The picture of the red and grey seat is from the ebay ad, but when I went to pick it up the red color was different then my sled so he sold me the all black seat he had instead. I like the all black better any way.
