Hello!
Got me an extra snowmobile from a friend at work, it was just in the way for him. "-You who are interested in snowmobiles maybe want it? Otherwise I'll scrap it"
t turned out to be an Arctic Cat Pantera from 1980, half-good shape... the sadest part is the seat that is ripped along one side and all cracked up. Something with the steering also since he pulled with the tractor in one ski, something has snapped.
It hasn't been riden in at least 5 years.
Track is ok
Hood ok, but shoul need new decals
Windshield cracked and some pieces missing
Engine looks good
Clutches also
The plan is to pick it apart during the summer and clean/paint/fix every part.
Since it is hard to find decals in Sweden at a descent price I'm wondering if anyone can point me to someone in the US that sells retro decal sets?

I just looked online, you can still buy the decals from Arctic cat.
http://www.alpha-sports.com/arctic_cat_parts.htmhttp://www.brownsleisureworld.com/if you want to try an after market place.
www.oldsleddecals.com
www.sledstuff.com
I have used them both and been happy. Dont know if they will carry anything that new though.
also maybe throw your question out on www.vintagesleds.com
It seems that is a very high traffic site.
www.arcticchat.com may also be able to help.
good luck,
Jeff
