Awesome video!

I remember running the Mount Washington Roadrace up that auto road back in 2006. It was hot and there were still snow patches. It took me 2hours 13 minutes from base to summit...a BASTARDLY run!

roflmao.gif roflmao.gif Theres no way in the world you would catch me running up that mountain!! Ive climbed it probably 25 times from all angles, but never was I ever even close enough to being that aggressive to even think about it, never mind making it happen!!!! Hell, it took me an hour and a half to get to the top on my ATV last year!! (coarse we made quite a few stops along the way for um,,,refreshments) I do however prefer going up rather than coming down, afer about the half way point, jelly knee starts to set in unless Ive been doing it all season.

really...you can take an ATV to the top? I thought the road, cog, or foot were the only options. I hiked it in February of 1995, and it was BRUTAL. It was about 15 degrees at the bottom, but after a quarter mile you get so overheated that you don't feel the temperature.

Ive driven to the top at least 5 times, Slept OVERNIGHT as a Guest of the Observatory, and have atempted to hike to the top, but was turned back by Ice and Hurricane gusts the first days of September.

I love that mountain.

Yes, you can ride the auto road to the top, NO off trail riding is permitted! And as of 2 years ago, it can only be done with an ATV club as well. Just like all things in life, we have lost more freedoms, but at least you can still go up on an ATV for now. Again,..glad Im not a youngster, this will probably be done with soon as well just like everything else...heres a shot of my friend Ron when we went last year.
