Nice video, doesn't surprise me. Those starfires are pretty light and are designed more for hole shot, then top end...
Neat video, thanks

thats the video that came to my mind! pretty funny. you think the new engineers at polaris find it funny? they spent how much in tooling, research and development to have an old sled smoke there newest flag ship?!!

It's a weight issue and the Starfire is modded. My old 1989 650 will smoke any box stock Polaris, I've done it 100's of times.

that wasnt even a stock star fire so anyone who sees that and puts down the new sleds isnt the brightest cause u put enough time and money in to a dog sled it will beat anything bone stock

That's a sweet ride you've got there. I have to admit I am a little parcial to those old Starfire 650's. They still run!

Yeah...doesn't that piss guys off with the latest iron. a buddy still has an old 86 polaris indy 600 le trail sled with a modded triple piped 660...it smokes any of the new sleds with ease. One guy that got beat bad had cats biggest flagship sled....got so p.o. he still refers to that old indy as a pro stocker.

THat is a shift not a 700IQ. Look at the the decals. Plus that 650 is modded. Anyways the video is still sweet, but I wouldn't trade my new iron for the old sled. Couldn't do anything but drag race that.

Not to knock the old sled one bit, awesome...but that doof on the dragon has no clue, don't look like he even hit the gas. and what was he trying to take a dump off the back of it beforehand? Just sit down, grip it and rip it.

actually it is a 700 IQ, that patch of red is where it says 700 IQ, I think you need to look at the polaris website a little more to see what the sleds look like, see ya
