Thought I would start a tire thread. I run 25" mudlites on my big bear and I hate them. The offer good traction and a smooth ride but they have thin sidewalls and pop very easily. I have popped 2 in 800 miles. What do you guys run?

26" Mud Lites on my 07 Grizzly and I love them. Never had an issue with the sidewalls..............yet. The only thing that sort of annoyes me is they throw up random pebbles and make the wheeler sound like it's falling apart when they hit the plastic or frame....but oh well.

Do they measure a true 26 inches? A lot of tires these days dont measure up to there dimensions.

What do you have for a quad? I dont have any engine mods on my Rinny and If You go to big with a tire and get into some really nasty mud you might not be able to turn those big sneakers. Seen it happen. Alot of good real big tires are going to do you if your quad doesnt have the balls to turn em when you need em..

I have a 800 Max XT and am running 28" Outlaw MST's. Great tire very smooth ride, good mud traction, good bite side bite to get out of ruts and the side wall seem to be very tuff. I haven't had any punchers or cuts yet and have ridden through shale rock and clear cuts with them. I had a set of Titan's 27" 589 on there and took them off for something that rode a little smoother and were not quite as aggressive of a tire. I still have them if your intrested PM me.

i would either go with the outlaw mst or maxxis zilla not mudzilla. Both are a awsome trail tire. I have mud bitches also which are a good mud tire and have a very thick sidewall but they are very heavy and ride rough. By the way the person that mentioned 28" mud bitches they ar 27 that measure 28"

I had mudlites on my Rhino.. The fronts wear really weird. I had good luck with Mudweisers on my Outlander 400. I have the Carlise ACT Radial on my Outlander 800XT... There a decent tire. I would like to get somthing much more agressive soon. The outlaw mst's look sweet.

one side was wobbling, so I switched them side to side to see if it was the axle that was bent, or a rim. then, I decided to see how they would work in the mud, mounted in that direction.

Man you guys got to get rid of them Mud Lites I had them on my "99" Polaris 500 Magnum 4x4 and they ran small and side walls were tender I got rid of them and bought a set of 6ply 25" Swamp Lites and have been happier then a pig in mud, they ride smooth & steering is predictable on the trails, clean out good in the mud, have awesome hill climbing traction and the 25's measured out at 26"@5psi and are cheaper then Mud lites. Outlaws are nice BUT not really a multi-purpose "All Terrain" tire like the Swamp Lites are turning out to be. Just my .02 and past experiences

I just put on Mud Lites. Today was my first trip with them. I like them so far. They hook up pretty good on the loose coal silt and rock that we ride on. They make my Kodiak handle so much better then the stock tires. I think they hook a little too well, now I need some engine mods

The only thing I don't like about them is that ITP uses a soft compound. They seem to wear much faster then Maxxis tires.
