My kid lost the tranny in his 94 Civic, wondering if anyone can recommend a good shop to rebuild it in the Lewiston -Auburn area

honestly it would be cheaper and easier to get one from a salvage yard. Let me know if you need help, I own a european repair shop in windham.

The community college there has a program and you rebuild a tranny in it--perhaps your kid wants to learn how to do it. It will be way cheaper to buy a used one and toss it in.
