So what do you think its worth? It has electric start, reverse, compression relief knob, a primary clutch knob that disengauges the primary so it will free rev, and it came with the original owners manual. The sled is in very good shape and has been garage kept since new (and it shows). The track is like new as well as all the suspension wheels with only slight surface rust on the rear suspension. The skis have the original wear bars on them. The seat is perfect and the hood only has one very small chip in the paint (no cracks). The Chrome all looks pretty good...just a couple of small spots of surface rust and no dents. The belly pan looks new and the running boards have some scratches from normal use. The engine is a 25hp opposed twin single carb that starts instantly when you turn the key. Everything works on it.

Tom, I really don't know what its worth today. The first sled of my own was a '69 just like yours, they were the Caddys of their day. You might contact Olav Aaen of Aaen performance, he has a restored, I think '72 in his shop showroom. He was the man at Evinrude back then, I just talked to him about it at the last WPSA race.

I can see where it would be considered the cadillac of sleds back then. Its a very intresting piece of machinery with the open chain drive and the clutch that can be disengauged so you can free rev the engine. It does seem to be a very well built machine.

My '71 had the added option of a cigarette lighter in the dash, something I wish I had today
