dunno.gif Has anybody ridden in Norton Or Canaan Vt this week?If so how are the trails?
sael
Rode there yesterday, best riding of the year, however Norton has stopped grooming as of Tuesday and we were riding on new snow only. I don't think it will hold up to the warm weather. The Canaan gate is closed. There was plenty of good riding but the end is near. See daytrippers thread and pictures on the VT site. By the way we heard from some Brighton club members that the Gov has asked that the trails through the wildlife management areas be closed on April 1. So that would kill it all regardless of the weather.

Please keep the reports coming for the general IP/Norton/Cannan area. Im looking for one more ride this weekend :beerchug:

Anyone planning on riding Saturday 3/27/04 out of the IP area???
It should be good at least for Saturday, but I agree, the end is near..... i_need_snow.gif

There is going to be plenty of snow where there is always plenty of snow, getting there will be the problem. Check Weather.com or some of the Island Pond web sites. It is going to be very warm here the next few days. You might call Mings Polaris or Kingdom Cat. Island Pond itself was still solid but the trails out of there will be an issue. And then there is grooming................ This is your last chance and Island Pond could use the money go for it!!!!!!!!!!!! ylsuper.gif :beerchug:
