i was at the our ranch in nevis (right by park rapids) this last weekend and people said there is still 18+ inches of ice on the middle fo most lake. the edges are starting to go though. id give it aobut week and a half and it will be gone for sure.

we were down to West battle Lake on Sunday. There was about 20 - 30 feet of open water around the shore. that was it. high winds and rain may have helped though

thanks for the updates, have fun riding at the end of april on the forest roads and ditches. frickin weather I have not ridin from our cabin in 6 years and that year wasn't great. all this snow 2 months ago and it would have been the best year of n mn riding in 10 years.
Minnesota Flats
N.Long Lake , outside Brainerd is about 25% open, but with this rain and wind right now, there are several open separations in the ice pack.

MNUSA meeting and fun going on this weekend at "The Lodge" (hotel) in Baxter, western suburb of Brainerd. Open to all MNUSA members.
