Yeah, shes old school not as fast as the new thous but I've owned it for forever and had a lot of fun with it. . I would like a newer one but it's such a comfy (for a sport bike) ride and is still runs great. Good torque and low end power for the street, will still pull 2nd gear wheelies. Had some late storms here but should be melted enough to ride in about a week!!

I had one of the first year RR's in red white & blue. They called it a '93 model, but it came out in spring of '92. I had put a deposit down as soon as it was announced the previous fall, so I got one of the first bikes in NH. That was a great looking bike. Unfortunately in Oct '96 an oblivious left turning driver sent me and the RR to the ground. I healed - the RR was all done trau14.gif

I think the '98 black/red 900RR is one of the best looking bikes ever. I ride an 01 RR.

Ah yes the 92 probably my favorite color scheme . They were a little more beastly than mine, little more violent power but mine (919 series motor) makes more on mid and top. Before this one I had a 96 Smokin Joes, that bike got a lot of attention but was not nearly as fast as my 99. Long live the CBR!!
