Went out today from Magalloway Rd, don't ride from there, its amazing what a couple hours will do, when we started around 9am there was snow on the road, when we got back around noon the road was straight dirt.
There is plenty of snow in East Inlet, a couple patch bare spots, no big deal, but the snow is really really soft, and seems as though it might go real quick.

Three weeks ago there was almost 4 feet there...I went out in shorts on Friday and it was in the 70s...then same thing on Sat...did 70 awesome miles...even went across 1st CT Lake from my house both days, but on the way back on Sat I could see that was it...and it was in the mid 60s when we left today. 6 months of riding is not bad though.

What if we drive further up Magalloway or East Inlet roads? Are those the only places to park? I was planning on going up Thursday. I'm not afraid to ride on a half mile of dirt to get to snow...as long as there is snow somewhere.
I just filled my sleds, my truck and my gas jugs.

I was up at east inlet on saturday and I found some good snow. There were only a few bare spots, but in some trails the base was 2 feet deep. The snow is soft and the temps are warm. We got stuck plenty of times riding. We found some off trail areas and I was constantly falling up to my waist in the snow. I will post pics later. I would think you could still go out for a ride.

i dont know how good it will be if the weather keeps up like it has been, it was 76 dgrees at east inlet over the weekend, and snow was melting fast, sooner the better.

Like PolarisBrian said we started out on snow and was riding dirt coming back... East Inlet was fine and lots of snow off trail... The times I kept falling through the snow up to my waist there was water under it. It was 72 degrees Sunday. Actually was talking to one of the guys that groom at Happy Corner and he said it was mid winter riding two weekends ago and you could ride to youngs... He said the snow is going fast. There was no snow at youngs only snow bankings and the field acrossed from back lake road was starting to go under water

See my 3 latest posts/replies from our riding today (with pics). It's all gonna depend on the weather, but I think you can do it. I'm thinking about doing it. Plan on abusing your sled.

That would be a real waste of time and money to go riding. The trails are going to suck and its not worth beating on the sled.
